What people say about the session:

After having my baby, I was overjoyed and sometimes overwhelmed. When the nights had been tough and long, the thought of going “Hummy Mummies” was often what got me through. Vicky creates a wonderful atmosphere; which is inviting, fun, and it really feels that she values each and every member of the choir. Singing sometimes restored my sense of self, and was rejuvenating after no sleep! My baby also seemed to respond so well to the music, and either slept or listened quietly, giving me a whole our to get lost in the lovely experience. I tried a number of different baby groups, but this one is very special to me. Vicky is fantastic, full of energy and enthusiasm and you feel part of something important. I really can’t recommend it enough. The concerts are a wonderful way of displaying what we have all achieved and makes you feel very proud.

I joined Hummy Mummies last year with Victoria and I can honestly say it’s been of the nicest activities I have been to with my 2 1/2 year old. I’m not a great singer by any means but love it and it always lifts my spirits. It is also a bit of me time, where my toddler can join rather than the other way around. I’ve met lovely people and my little one knows many of the words to the songs and even has requests. I actually think the singing has a (mostly) calming effect on the children.  Amongst the babble of babies and chattering mommies Victoria still manages to stay calm, teach, conduct and get the job done. Would highly recommend this!

Hummy Mummies is my favourite time of the week. I can do something for me and my baby can enjoy himself at the same time. He even joins in the warm ups as he practises them at home! Lovely Vicky makes everything very relaxed and informal, and I leave feeling relaxed and ready for the rest of the day. The only problem is the sessions don’t last long enough!
